Hello! My name is Jezza, and I have been a Virtual Assistant since 2012. I love connecting with online business owners to help them take their business to the next level that is why I started my own business, the SMBJ Virtual Solutions.
SMBJ (Super Mom in Blue Jeans) Virtual Solutions is dedicated to helping onlie business owners and entrepreneurs who need various services such as general administration, social media marketing, data entry, research, eCommerce management, and bookkeeping.
I have extensive knowledge and worked in various administrative roles, including general administration, social media marketing, social media management, e-commerce management, creative Canva designs, bookkeeping, data entry & collection, and research. I am also proficient in different apps and software.
I have over eight years of virtual administrative work experience and one of the Top-Rated Freelancers in Upwork. I'm also a Certified Quickbooks ProAdvisor.
I always take pride in every work and show determination and passion in everything. I always give my 101% best at everything. I also believe that having a positive mindset will help you achieve your goals in life.
Here's how my business journey began...
I was born and raised in the Philippines. I have worked as Assistant Restaurant Manager in big fast-food chains. I signed up at Odesk (now known as Upwork) in 2012 and started taking some side gigs as a Freelancer.
In February 2014, my husband (my boyfriend at that time) and I decided to go to Canada together, hoping for a 'greener pasture.' We worked as Assistant Restaurant Manager and fortunately got our permanent residency status the following year. I gave birth to our eldest in August 2015, and during my maternity leave, I started to blog. That is when Super Mom In Blue Jeans was born; initially, it was a parenting blog, but as I got more experience working as a Virtual Assistant, I decided to revamp and showcase my VA services instead.
And then, I started to work in a local appraisal firm as an Office Assistant in 2017, leaving the (Quick Service Restaurant) QSR world behind.
While I was on maternity leave from my youngest in 2019, I decided to start my own business in the middle of a pandemic. Work from home is on the rise, and I believe I have the skillset to become a Full-Time Virtual Assistant, so I join the #WFHmom wagon. I registered my own business, which is now the SMBJ Virtual Solutions.
My everyday mantra is, "When you love what you do, you'll never work a day in your life." This is what keeps me going and separates me from an average Virtual Assistant.
What gets me excited, and I love being a Virtual Assistant, is that I can get to work from the comfort of our home, be with my two boys, and work with my amazing family-oriented clients and help them grow their business.
